In response to the international growth of the biotechnology industry and due to the fact that Biotech's innovation defines 21st century progress globally in health care, agriculture, industrial production, and environmental management, Human Alliance (Pty)Ltd decided to establish a unique service offering to the South African Biotechnology sector.

Together with Cape Biotech (a Biotech Regional Incubator Center), Human Alliance (Pty) Ltd has spearheaded an internet career portal (www.sabiotechcareers.co.za), which focuses its service offering specifically to the needs of the South African Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical industries. The portal provides an innovative, integrated talent procurement and management solution that is tailored specifically to the needs of the Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical and Life Science industries. Together with its alliance partners, the four Biotech Regional Incubator Centers (Cape Biotech; BioPad, LifeLab, and Egolibio), SABiotechCareers.co.za aims to position itself in the centre of the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical industries in order to stimulate careers and staffing infrastructure in the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical industries.

Currently the SABiotechCareers Portal is undergoing some technical modifications to allow for a more streamlined and user-friendly service to both candidates and employer organisations, improving the quality, speed and efficiency of our service. At the same time we are also undergoing a rebranding effort and developing additional Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical focused supplementary career services that will be accessible via our internet portal (www.biocareers.co.za).
